Industry Standard Rolling Warehouse Ladder

Cotterman manufactures the industry standard rolling warehouse ladder. Cotterman Ladders are designed to the strict guidelines of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the regulations of the Occupational Safety Hazards Administration (OSHA). Furthermore, Cotterman Ladders are continuously being tested, improved, redesigned, and even customized through direct involvement with customers. The Cotterman engineering staff participates in ANSI and other regulatory boards to keep abreast of industry concerns and to bring Cotterman research forward to help make safer products. Cotterman also provides the best single service in the industry for its ladder customers: multiple manufacturing locations for lower freight costs, less damage, and quicker delivery.

Steel Ladders

SERIES 1000

Cotterman Series 1000 is our flagship product line. The value added features of this product make it our best seller. Shipped set-up from one of our three locations reduces freight costs and damage. Plus, when it arrives it goes directly in to use. The climbing angle is 59 degrees. The ladder is powder coated with 90+ gloss powder. Pick your color from our 11 stock choices.

The steps are 7" deep, with the top step being your choice of 10, 20, or 30". Tread selections are expanded metal mesh for medium duty industrial and commercial environments, Grip Strut for heavy industrial, and solid steel with rubber matting for office environments. The load rating is 350lbs.

One through four step ladders have spring loaded casters that retract whenever weight is applied, immobilizing the ladder. Five step and up have our Safelock system. This series covers one to eleven steps. Deep platform 10 and 11 step ladders are not offered in this series, due to size restrictions in shipping.

Series 1500

The 1500 Series Cotterman Ladder is the assembly required version of our 1000 series. Packaged for shipping at a lower freight class (150) the ladders require approx. 15 – 30 minutes to assemble, depending on size. This series has the most selection of all of our products, ranging from three to nineteen steps. Ladders with 10" deep top steps ship enclosed in shrink wrap, up to 12 steps. Thirteen step and up; plus 10, 11, and 12 step with deep platforms, are shipped in our specially designed 2 X 4 crates. The ladder is powder coated with 90+ gloss powder. The series 1200, our Easy50 line, allows the user to descend the ladder facing forward due to the 50 degree climbing angle. Ships setup to eight steps. Series 1700

The Series 1700 has the same features and climbing angle as the Series 1200, but ships disassembled at a lower freight class. The series covers nine through 15 steps. Nine step ladders through twelve are packaged in shrinkwrap. The larger ladders are crated, along with ten, eleven, and twelve step ladders with 24" deep top steps. Series 2600

The 2600 Series is designed to withstand more abuse that is encountered in high traffic or industrial environments. The ladders ships disassembled and have a 50 degree climbing angle. The added feature of this product is heavier 13 guage 1 _" diameter tubing used in the base and in the vertical back panel. In addition, these ladders are rated at 400 lb. capacity. The steps are 10" deep, with 12" top step standard and optional 24" deep platform available. The series is offered in nine to fifteen step models. , crating required on deep platform models and all 13 step and higher ladders. The ladder is powder coated with 90+ gloss powder. Work Platforms

Series WP

The Series WP is designed for accessing a work area with a larger platform to provide room for tools and/or an additional person. The 600 lb load rating easily accommodates this additional weight. Work Platforms have heavy duty grip strut tread standard and 50 degree climbing angle for easy forward descent. Handrails are optional on 2, 3 and 4 step models, but are required on 5 step and higher units. All units have 4" rigid casters on the rear, the front end with 2’ rubber pads. To move, simply tilt onto the rear casters and roll the unit to another area. The Cotterman Safelock option is available, in case more frequent movement is anticipated. Series DWP

With steps on both ends, the series DWP is commonly used to work alongside large machinery to enable descent or ascent from both sides of the ladder. Climbing angle is 59 degrees. The load rating is 600lbs. Ladders ship set-up with handrails shipped disassembled to prevent damage.

Special Purpose

Portable Corssover Platform

The Series PC Portable Crossover Platforms are an economical as well as portable way to bridge equipment such as a conveyors. Climbing angle is 50 degrees, permitting forward descent. The ladder is powder coated with 90 gloss powder. Pick your color from our 11 stock choices. The steps are 7" deep, with platform depth choices ranging from 24" to 60" ( Three and four step models available only up to 48"). Tread selections are expanded metal mesh for medium duty industrial and commercial environments or Grip Strut for heavy industrial environments. The load rating is 350lbs. The ladder rests on four legs with rubber crutch tips and does not need to be secured to the floor.

Series 6500

The Cotterman Series 6500 disassembles easily and folds into itself for easy transportation or storage. The rear casters are 10" diameter semi-pneumatic wheels. The front end rests on legs with rubber pads. Cotterman Safelock caster system is available on all models for an additional charge. Climbing angle is 59 degrees. Lift Table Ladder

The Cotterman Lift Table Ladder provides powered retrieval and/or stocking at fixed shelving heights. Commonly used in Home Center stores for retrieving paint cans, the primary purpose is to handle dense items that are more efficiently lifted rather than carried. The unit is powered by two 6 Volt DC Trojan batteries with a Guest 10 AMP battery charger. Sizes offered are 5 step through 8 step. The following chart shows the usable working heights. This product ships only from the MI plant. Ships setup with protective crate.

Aluminum

Series A

The Cotterman Series A ladders are set-up aluminum ladders. The primary advantages to aluminum ladders are the light weight and corrosion resistant properties of the material. The climbing angle is 59 degrees, with 7" deep steps and 14" deep top step. All ladders have spring loaded casters that retract when weight is applied. Tread choices are solid ribbed tread for medium duty or office environments or Grip Strut for heavy duty environments. The load rating is 300lbs.

Tilt-n-Roll

Stainless Steel, Aluminum, & Powder Coated Steel

This exclusive design was patented in 1992, and has since become one of the most popular ladders in the market. Simply pull back on the handrails (It is not necessary to place a foot on the first step) and the ladder transfers from the front rubber pads to the wheels. It is perfectly balanced in the rolling position and will not slide toward the user when tilted back onto the pads. Climbing angle is 59 degrees. The ladder is powder coated with 90+ gloss powder.
